The more and more I read about photography in general, the more I realize it's all just about light.  That's it.    You could have the most beautiful landscape in front of you with vivid colors and without the right light, and you couldn't appreciate it.  With that said, I would like to do a feature on light.  Yes, it's very vague. I know.  So if any of you have seen anything where the lighting is perfect, send it my way so I can learn a thing or two! PS. I know I need a subscription, I'll do it

Hey!!!! Let me start off with how amazed I am at the community here.  I upload some work of mine and in less than an hour I am receiving comments and kudos.  Pretty cool I must say.  I hope to make some contacts here to learn new things.  I am VERY new to photography and I think I have found a great partner to my love of technology.  I decided to upgrade my "awesome" $150 Vivatar Wal-Mart camera and bought a D40 18-55 mm kit.
